A large chunk of your time inPersona 5 Royalis spent carrying out Persona fusions in the Velvet Room, thanks to the help of the twins, Justine and Caroline.
Most players tend to ignore this Confidant their first time. I know that because I did the same thing during my first-ever playthrough of the original game in 2017.

Persona 5 Royal: Hermit Confidant Guide - Futaba Sakura
In this confidant guide, we’ll explore all the social link events and dialogue to get to know Futaba Sakura in Persona 5 Royal.
It mostly turns out that way due to the specific Persona Fusion requests you need to complete to advance their social link ranks. But theirConfidant abilities are genuinely beneficialas they allow you to create some of the most powerful Personas.

So, to help you avoid making the same mistake I did, I’ve prepared a Confidant guide on Justine and Caroline inPersona 5 Royal, with an easy-to-follow recipe for each Personas and their ingredients.
This guide uses thefree DLC Persona to make the recipes flexible. It’s already included in the PS5/next-gen versions but needs to be separately claimed in the PS4 version PSN store.

Justine & Caroline Confidant Abilities
While you can surely ignore this Confidant, you really shouldn’t. Thetwins' standout ability, the Group Guillotine feature, allows you to create strong personas.
This entire Social link gets even better with the Special Treatment ability, which allows you to pay money to remove some higher-level Personas from your reach. Getting millions of Yen in P5R is a cakewalk.

I’ve listed the Confidant Abilities for Caroline and Justine below, just in case you want to check out what they offer.
Social Link Rank
Description
Group Guillotine
Allows you to fuse three Personas to create powerful new ones.
Allows you to leave a Persona to learn an attribute resistance.

Special Treatment
Allows you to pay to create Personas of a higher level.
Guillotine Booster
Increases the possible fusions of Personas in Group Guillotine.
VIP Treatment
Reduces the amount of money needed for Special Treatment.
Rank 1: Jack Frost With Mabufu
If you already have a Jack Frost, you can just patiently wait to get him to Level 12 so he can automatically learn Mabufu. If not, I’ve listed the recipe to create him with Mabufu from scratch.
You may need to wait until the Madarame Palace becausethe recipe uses the Regent Treasure Persona, which is automatically given to you in a story-related battle.
To verify and complete the requests, make sure to talk to Caroline and select the"Check status on penal labor.“option.
Rank 2: Ame-No-Uzume With Frei
The simplest way to do this is to have a base-level Suzaku with Frei and fuse it with Berith to make an Ame-No-Uzumewhile inheriting Frei.
But if you don’t have either, there’s a quick way to get both Personas from scratch:
Rank 3: Flauros With Tarukaja
At his base level, Eligor already has Tarukaja,so we just need to combine the three Personas listed in the Guillotine Fusion.
Hopefully, you still have Berith registered from the previous request. The recipes for crafting the other two ingredients are included below, in case you’re missing them.
Persona 5 Royal: Best Party Members, Ranked
Having the right team can be a complete game changer in Persona 5. Here are the best members to consider for your party.
Rank 4: Phoenix With Counter
A relatively simple request that you can complete by combining a base-level Yaksini (with the Counter skill) and an Oni to create a Phoenix.
Regardless, the base recipe to craft each Persona is described below for your convenience.
Rank 5: Setanta With Rakukaja
This is another easy request to complete by fusing Lamia and Silky together, since the former has Rakukaja at her base level.
Like before, if you don’t have Silky or Lamia, the short recipe for both is below.
Rank 6: Neko Shogun With Dekaja
This is another Guillotine Fusion, just like the one with Flauros. We already have Kodama from the required ingredient Personas.
I’ve listed the base recipe to craft the other two, should you need it.
Rank 7: Lachesis With Tetraja
There’s an extremely rare scenario that you might fail this fusion when fusing Lachesis, so save your game before attempting it to avoid wasting Personas.
It’s a simple fusion where we’re going to use yet another DLC Persona to make fusing and completing this request a breeze.
Persona 5 Royal: 10 Best Early Game Personas
If you’re hoping for an edge in Persona 5 Royal’s early game, check out this list of the best early game Personas available.
Rank 8: Hecathoncheires with Masukunda
You’d think that these requests would get complex at this point, but quite frankly, they’re not. Unless your level requirement for creating the Persona really holds you back, it’s just a matter ofhaving enough yen to create Personasfrom scratch easily.
On a side note, you can also use thePersona 5 Royal Fusion Calculatorto recreate some base Personas by chance if you’re missing any right now.
Rank 9: Bugs With Samarecarm
For this one, we need a Hariti at Level 41 so she can learn Samarecarm. So, if you have the Empress Confidant at level 2 or above, you’ll get enough XP on the fusion to level up Hariti for that skill.
If not, I strongly suggest using theStrengthen feature in the Velvet Roomby sacrificing a Treasure Demon like Regent to level up Hariti easily.
Rank 10: Seth With High Counter
There are a couple of ways here to complete this last request. You can wait until you get the “The Killer Who Cleans Up Trash” request (10/14) for Mementos and get a High Counter skill card from there as a reward, which is the path I took.
Or, if you’ve been following along with theDLC Persona-infused recipes so far,I’ve included an extremely simple recipe guide that lets you get High Counter easily.
This will complete the final and last request to max out Justine and Caroline’s Confidant.
