Whileexploring Tartarus,they will occasionally come across thecrystallized remains of shadows with a blue light in the middle.These can be destroyed and will reward a Twilight Fragment, but they are fairly rare. Whenever playersform a new Social Link or rank one up, return to Elizabeth,and she will also give Twilight Fragments. This method can be built up as players won’t need to visit her every time. Twilight Fragments can be used on the first floor of Tartarus at the clock to completelyrestore the party’s HP and SP for the cost of seven Twilight Fragments.While leaving Tartarus and coming back the next day will offer the same results, this can allow players tomaximize their time and complete long stretches in Tartarusto save other nights to rank up social stats or complete social links.
Manyhigher-quality chests in Tartarus will also require Twilight Fragments to open.The number required is indicated by the number of red dots on the front of the chest and will also give an idea of the quality of the rewards.
