The two-time Academy Awards winner and Hollywood A-lister, Robert De Niro has had quite an impactful journey. The actor gained fame with hit movies likeThe Godfather: Part II, Goodfellas, Meet the Parents, and many more.
However, unlike other celebrities De Niro was very vocal about one sensitive topic, politics. The legendary actor-producer has often spoken about his political views, particularly his disdain for one leader. The feud between theCasinolead and Donald Trump is long-standing. This election season the actor has been campaigning boldly for the opposition, referencing a past incident which was a blemish on the former president’s rep.

Naturally, the actor joined the ‘Paisans for Kamala’ online fundraiser hosted by Italian American Democrats. In addition to speaking up for his support of the Democratic candidate, De Niro also shed light on the opposition.

Unfortunately, views about the incident remain divided, with each side blaming the other. The former president claimed it was a conspiracy by the government, and fully believed the election was rigged.
Trump’s mob wasn’t a peaceful protest, it was a violent assault, They were insurrectionists, not patriots. They were not there to uphold the Constitution, they were there to destroy the Constitution.
