This quickly made headlines that the actor was reportedly snorting drugs at the festival. Now adding to this, an insider has come out to detail the actor’s supposed dark past. In an exclusive interview viaLife & Style, the insider who’s apparently been around the actor added:
It’s great to be the nextColin Farrell or Austin Butler but the real goal has to be realizing your full potential. (The source continues) There’s a growing consensus that Paul’s old habits, and his party-boy lifestyle in general, are going to be his biggest obstacles in that regard.

The insider also added that Mescal needs to understand his position within a larger industry framework. Further, any off-camera missteps might have far-reaching complications not just for him, but others as well involved in hisprojects. He added,“Especially with Gladiator II coming up and the persistent rumor that Paul is being scouted to anchor the upcoming Beatles biopic in the role of Paul McCartney.“
However, these claims remain speculative at the moment, and the actor has yet to address them publicly.
