Palworld: How To Keep Pals Happy
In Palworld, it is essential that you keep your Pals happy. Here’s how you can do that.
Once you have a Pal sphere Assembly Line, you will be able to craft the best Spheres in the game to help you catch thestrongest Pals, but this is not the only means of having a better Capture Rate. You will also need to explore forLifmunk Effigies, lower the health of Pals, stun Pals, and you can even change the game’s settings.
Use Stronger Spheres
You will come to possess your first Pal Sphererelatively earlyon in the game. However, stronger Pals are going to needstronger Spheresin order to make them yours.
There are6 Spheres in the game, each of which will be unlocked as you make your waythrough the Technology tab— and each of them offers agreater chance of capturing your targeted Palthan Spheres from previous Technology tiers. Don’t spend allyour Technology Pointson furniture items, or you may find yourselfnot being able to afford the best Spheresas they become available.

Each Glider Pal in Palworld has unique differences in just how they glide. This guide breaks down their distinct specialties.
Lower Target Pal’s Health
It doesn’t matter if you are throwing nothing but Legendary Spheres at your target Pals — if a strong Palis still at its full health, your odds of successare going to be abysmally low. A Pal’s Health will basically be acting like a buffer inpreventing them from being captured, and you will want to chisel away as much of this buffer as you can without reducing them to zero.
Pals may look like they are only momentarily stunned when their health runs out and their eyes start swirling about, butthey will not be waking upfor another chance of getting them. The lower a Pal’s health, the higher your odds of capturing them will be once the Sphere slams shut on them. A single-digit capture is something you will want to avoid.
Stunning Pals
When stunned, the Pal willshake about where it standswith visible signs of electrical currentssurging around them. This can be achieved using special weapons, such as aStun Baton, or using certainElectric Palmoves. A great Pal to have isRayhound, which willallow you to mount themand manually choose touse the Shockwave attack.
You can use this attack tostun every Palthat is surrounding Rayhound when you use the button that it is mapped to — provided you have lowered health enough, this can allow you to throw Spheres at every Pal affected andperform a mass capturing of everything hitby Shockwave.
Find Lifmunk Effigies
Lifmunks are a very cute early Pal that offers some great early game benefits. They have5 Work Suitabilities at Lv 1, and they can get a submachine gun to use while sitting on your head. Throughout the game, you willfind effigies in their likeness. Collecting the Lifmunk Effigies will allow you toraise your overall Capture Ratewhenever you attempt to capture any Pal.
In order to get this benefit, you will need to find aStatue of Power. These statues can be found scattered throughout the game’s map, or you cancreate one of these structuresright at your base. This statue bears the likeness ofAnubis, one of the best Pals you may get thanks to itsHandiwork being at Lv 4. This makes it one of the fewPals with the best Work Suitabilitiesin the entire game.
Increase Capture Rate in Custom Settings
Palworld gives the option totweak numerous custom settingsof the game to create an experience that can be tailored tomeet the preferencesof each individual player. If players want combat to be easier, it lets themlower the damagethey take, and/orincrease the damagethey dish out. Likewise, it offerscustom settings for Capture Rate.
If you feel you are going through too many Spheres while out trying to capture Pals and gathering all the resources you need to make more is a burden, you canraise the resources you yieldwhenever you gather them. Another approach you could take is tosimply make it easier to Capture Pals— which in turn will reduce how many of your Pal Spheres you burn through trying to capture each of them. These tweaks willsave you a lot of timeand allow you to focus on other areas.
You will need the best Capture Rate if you plan on going up againstthe strongest Pals in the game. You might also want to checkwhich mounts are the fastestto cover the map much faster.
