Grizzbolt is an Electric-type pal which meansit’s weak to Ground-type attacks.While there are pals who can learn Ground-type attacks, bringing a Ground-type pal will be more useful because it can tank more hits from Grizzbolt while also taking advantage ofGrizzbolt’s elemental weakness.
Here are the earliest Ground-types you can find, and Ground-types that are near the tower:
You’ll want Gumoss and Fuddler at level 15 before you take on the boss. This way, these two will know Sand Blast and Stone Blast. Rushoar will be at its best at level 22 where it can learn Stone Blast, but if you want to take it on early, level 7 is when it learns Sand Blast.

When you reach the Rayne Syndicate Tower, Zoe and her partner Grizzbolt will be waiting for you at the top floor. While Zoe will spend the fight laughing from Grizzbolt’s head, Grizzbolt will attempt to rip you apart withpowerful Electric attacks. Here are the attacks you should watch out for:

Electric Beam
Grizzbolt covers its face and emits a red laser to paint its target. After a short delay, it will fire a beam at that target.
Electric Pulse
Grizzbolt walks up to its target, shortly covers its face, then releases three fast pulses of electricity that covers a small area around itself.
Zoe laughs first, followed by Grizzbolt winding up and lunging at its target with an electric paw. It will then leap into the air and lunge at its target one more time. When Grizzbolt lands, it will briefly charge its paw before leaping into the air and lunging a third time. This third lunge will emit a shockwave when Grizzbolt lands.
Electric Fan
Grizzbolt covers its face and then launches a fan of 8 electric balls at the player.
Electric Sparks
Grizzbolt covers its face and charges electricity into its ear tips. It then fires 8 pairs of electric bolts at its target.
Strategy For Defeating Zoe & Grizzbolt
Grizzbolt is a horrifying opponent up close because of how fast Electric Pulse can come out and how much damage that attack does.The best strategy is to stay far away from it and launch as many projectiles as possible toward its teeth and eyes, which will deal critical damage.Use the surrounding terrain to dodge its attacks, and cycle through your pals to keep them alive when they have Grizzbolt’s attention.
Cycling your pal out before Grizzbolt kills it gives your pals a chance to recover during the fight and be used again later.
If you do end up close to Grizzbolt, whether it’s because Grizzbolt sprinted toward you or because you’re insisting on meleeing it to death,manage your stamina well and be prepared to dodge the moment Grizzbolt winds up for an Electric Pulse.Dodging in Palworld has plenty of invulnerable frames that are primarily front-loaded, meaning the beginning is always invulnerable while the latter part is extremely vulnerable. While the timing may vary between moves, the common pattern is that Grizzbolt will cover its face to charge first, and then launch its attack. Hold your dodge until you see Grizzbolt move toward you first, and then react to that movement.
When you’re staying far away from Grizzbolt, you’ll only have to worry about two moves:Electric BeamandElectric Fan. Both of these attacks can catch you off-guard if you aren’t careful, so be prepared to jump or hide near cover to stay alive.
