The industry mogul’s empire has been crumbling over the months and it doesn’t look like things will be getting better anytime soon. While Diddy’s legal team has tried three times now to get him bail, so far the court has not agreed to their demands. Only time will tell what he has in store for him next. Right now, though, he faces yet another obstruction on his road to freedom.

According to prosecutors, Sean “Diddy” Combs is using the phone accounts of other inmates to illegally make calls from inside the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Needless to say, this does not make the rapper look good in the eyes of the court.

Diddy Allegedly Uses Inmates’ Phone Accounts

Diddy’s downfall keeps getting worse and worse as time progresses and new additions are made to his case. In jail on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, he awaits the trial that will set the course for the rest of his life.

Now, prosecutors are alleging wrongful behavior on his part from behind the prison doors. According toDaily Mail, Diddy has been accused of obstructing his case while in jail by getting his own children to engage in a public relations campaign.

Not only that but it is also being said that Diddy has paid off a witness who he called a whopping 128 times from his jail cell to gain her support. According to the prosecutors, he has“demonstrated an uncanny ability to get others to do his bidding.”

Apparently, Diddy has been using the phone accounts of his fellow inmates to“avoid law enforcement monitoring”and to call the people outside that he isn’t allowed to.

Eight Other Inmates Are Allegedly Involved in the Mess

As per the prosecutors, the$400 millionrich rapper is using this“relentless”scheme to“contact potential witnesses, including victims of his abuse who could provide powerful testimony against him.”Yikes.

Coming back to using his children as a part of a public relations strategy, a video seven of his children posted on his birthday (Nov. 5) is being cited as evidence of a “public relations strategy to influence this case.”

Diddy with his family

The video in question shows his family cutting a cake and wishing him a happy birthday during a prison phone call. During the call, Diddy can be heard saying,

I love y’all so much. I can’t wait to see y’all. I just want to say I’m proud of y’all, especially the girls. I mean all of y’all but just for being strong. Thank y’all for being strong and thank y’all for being by my side, supporting me. I love y’all. I got the best family in the world. My birthday. I’m happy. Thank y’all for giving me this call. I love y’all.

Last week, his lawyers once again tried to get their client bail by proposing house arrest, $50 million, along with the promise that he will be monitored by security personnel 24/7. However, the prosecutors believe that since Diddy is so good at getting his family, inmates, and others to do his bidding, there is no reason to believe that the security personnel will be immune to it all.
