Blizzard Entertainmenthas announced that it isset to launch a collaborationevent betweenOverwatch 2andOne Punch Manthis coming March 7,with the event set to run untilApril 6. Aside from this exciting collaboration, Blizzard Entertainment also announced that it will be adding additional features to the game with Season 3.
The One Punch Man crossover event will be the first-ever major IP collaboration for the game. Overwatch 2 will bring skins and cosmetics based off of One Punch Man that are only available for a very limited time and will include a Legendary skin that can only be earned through select themed challenges. The collection of cosmetics will include Saitama’s iconic Doomfist, with the remaining items to be unveiled ahead of its release on March 7.

A month prior to the collaboration’s release, Overwatch 2 Season 3 is set to start later today. It was recently confirmed that the game will make someranked matchmaking changes, but there’s more to the forthcoming season. It will feature all-new content such as the new Asian Mythology theme, a new Antarctic Peninsula Control map, Battle Pass paired with a Mythic Kiriko skin, an in-game event for Valentines that will feature Overwatch Dating Simulator: Loverwatch, and an IP collaboration.
The Valentine’s event will be another first for Overwatch 2. Aside from these exciting addition to the game, PachiMarchi is also set to return this March.
Blizzard Entertainment detailed each additional feature on its site. The New Antarctic Peninsula Control Map will showcase the game set in the cold place of Antarctica. Fans will be able to unveil some of the stories yet to be told as they venture across the new map. The game will have an additional Asian Mythology Theme & Kiriko Mythic Skin that aims to celebrate cultures across the world but will mainly focus on Korea, Japan and China. Blizzard Entertainment promises that the latest additional skins will be the most unique ones to date.
Valentine’s events titled Loverwatch Dating Sim and Ultimate Valentine’s Event will be launched as well.Loverwatch Dating Sim, a text-based dating sim, will run from February 13 until 28 which will let the players decide on a dating path between Mercy and Genji. The players can choose their paths through a dialogue option where they can interact with their hero. Ultimate Valentine’s Event on the other hand is an event that will run from February 14 until 28 which can help the players earn epic skins as rewards.
