Akane’s impressive acting skills captivated everyone, particularly Aqua, who was drawn to her performance mirroring Ai’s. Mem-Cho noticed Aqua’s peculiar behavior and tested her suspicions. Aqua’s flustered reaction surprised Mem and Yuki, who teased him. Upon asking Akane if she would date Aqua, Akane replied affirmatively. On the other hand, Kana was unhappy and stopped watching the show. Aqua invited Kana to skip school, opting for an honest and straightforward time together, after which they discussed LoveNow’s ending.
While playing catch in the park, Aqua shared his concern over losing his true self. Aqua threw a ball at Kana and confessed his interest in girls his age, preferably older. Kana’s happiness faded when she realized Akane was the same age as her. Aqua and Kana angrily exchanged throws with the ball, and Aqua realized his feelings for Akane were not romantic, he was just attracted to her because of her flawless imitation of Ai. Later, Aqua decided not to let go of Akane after the show ended. In the show’s finale, Aqua and Akane became a couple, kissing, much to Kana’s dismay. At the after party of LoveNow, Akane was unsure about a real-life relationship, focusing on her career.
Aqua sneaked out to meet with Producer Kaburagi, discussing about the show and controversy surrounding Akane. Kaburagi then showed his concern over the use of footage, but Aqua clarified that he hadn’t broken any rules by uploading it on the show’s social media accounts, while Kaburagi set up a date to talk about Ai. While talking about Akane, Aqua agreed to date as part of their job. Aqua discovered that Mem lived nearby, and they walked together, discussing Mem’s aspirations as an idol.
