Ever since the character of Loki was introduced inOne Piece, there have been many aspects that have tried to link with the protagonist of the story, Monkey D. Luffy. It has already been hinted that the two might have a connection with each other, and this connection will essentially become the central plot of the Elbaph arc, one of the most important narratives of the final saga.

Loki has been portrayed as the main villain of the Elbaph village. His criminal actions and his title as the accursed prince have led fans to believe that he might just be the one who Luffy will fight to liberate Elbaph. But the thing that is the most intriguing about him is his mysterious Devil Fruit abilities, which have been deemed legendary even within the royal line of Elbaph.
While the real power and the true potential of the Devil Fruits have not been revealed yet, hardcore fans of the series have devised their own theories to figure out what this legendary power could be. One of those theories reveals that the Devil Fruit that Loki allegedly ate or was supposed to eat was the Hito Hito no Mi: Model Nika, which currently belongs to Luffy.

The Legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaph
When the Giants explain Loki and his notorious crimes, they mention the reason behind his title: “The Accursed Prince.” Loki was the son of King Harald, the ruler of Elbaph, and the younger brother of Hajrudin. According to lore, Loki was an evil character who wanted to take control of a legendary Devil Fruit that was passed down the royal line of Elbaph.

Loki’s desire to get control of the legendary Devil Fruit increased so much that he decided to be greedy about it and take it from his father’s body. Thus, hekilled him and allegedly ate the legendary Devil Fruit, which made him so strong that he became the strongest Giant in all of Elbaph.
As mentioned above, the kind of power that the legendary Devil Fruit contains has not been revealed, but it sounds like the Devil Fruit might be one of a kind. Plus, it being a part of the royal line of Elbaph certainly explains the legendary status behind the mysteriousOne PieceDevil Fruit.

One PieceTheory Reveals The Real Legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaph
According to a theory posted by@writingpaninion X, the real legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaph was actually the Hito Hito no Mi: model Nika. The theory states that when Loki got rejected after proposing to Big Mom’s daughter Lola, he became enraged and decided to become powerful. In order to do that, he needed the legendary Devil Fruit, which was in the possession of King Harald.
When King Harald got to know about this, he chose to eat the legendary Devil Fruit to save it from falling into Loki’s hands. But Loki was brutal enough to kill his father and take the Devil Fruit from his body. However, after King Harald got killed, the Nika fruit respawned somewhere else in East Blue and was stolen by Shanks, one of the most important characters inOne Piece.

Ultimately, it landed in the hands of Luffy, who supposedly was worthy of the legendary One Piece Devil Fruit. While the theory certainly sounds enticing, the only problem is that Luffy ate the Devil Fruit when he was a kid, but Lola rejected Loki five years ago before she set sail and reached the Thriller Bark arc. Therefore, the timeline of theOne Piecetheory is not accurate.
