During a conversation in herThe Nikki & Brie Showpodcast, Nikki Bella shared that she was deeply affected by the constant unnecessary comparison between her ex John Cena and husband, Artem Chigvintsev. She added that her husband felt that the WWE world is too brutal than his dancing industry.
The one thing that has affected me the most recently is just all the hate Artem gets because they compare him [to Cena]. They’ll say things to him, and Artem will ignore it. Every now and then, he’ll make a comment to me and he’s like, ‘Gosh, your industry can be so brutal. The dancing industry is not like that.’
John Cenahas presently made a name in Hollywood after being a part of some of the most popular IPs like DC andFast & Furious. He dated Nikki Bella for 5 years before getting engaged in 2017. Sadly, the couple had to call off their engagement in 2018 as they reportedly had commitment issues between them. In an interview withEntertainment Tonight, she said:
You almost wish it was bad because it’s so much easier to walk away. It’s so much harder to walk away when it’s loving. I think a lot of women get into that situation and it’s like, ‘But I love this person, but I don’t know if it’s right for my life,’ and that’s a hard thing about life, is we meet amazing people, but sometimes we’re just meant to live a different life.
According to Bella, she did not want to bring a baby into such a relationship with no clarity. Even though it was very traumatizing to leave a relationship of 6 years and asserted that she tried to stay. In the end, there was no other way but to call it off.

Sadly, the post did not age well as Artem Chigvintsev got arrested on Thursday for suspicion of domestic violence.

As per theLos Angeles Times, the 42-year-old was arrested under section 273.5(a) of the California penal code. It is targeted to any individual inflicting corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition on a spouse, former spouse, live-in partner, fiancé or fiancée, former dating partner, or co-parent.
AlthoughTMZhas reported that injuries were involved, it is not yet confirmed if Nikki Bella was involved in the incident. The Napa County release database added that Chigvintsev was released on the same day at 2:18 p.m. on a bail of $25,000.
