If you’ve been paying close attention toThe Witchernewslately, you will have seen that theofficial Twitteraccount for the Netflix show has been doing the Six Days of Witchmas, a festive goodie bag forWitcherfans as they wait for season two. Throughout the Witchmas activities, Twitter users get to vote for what they wanted to see that included  ‘Cuts from The Witcher Season One’ or ‘The Law of Surprise’. With fans voting on a series of polls, we now get to see some funny moments fromThe Witcherand also a new documentary-style video highlighting the show’s dangerous beasts.First up, let’s jump into some of the bloopers from the show as goodness knows, we all need a laugh. In the almost minute-long clip that you can watch below, we witness some silly moments caught that didn’t quite make it to the show, understandably. Probably for me, the best part of the bloopers reel is where Geralt is laying down and states “It moves by itself, I’m like a greased pig right now” with someone calling out from behind the camera “A sexy greased pig!” with Henry Cavill smiling sheepishly. Lars Mikkelsen who plays Stregobor also is seen in the out-takes where he accidentally drops an apple and then gets himself all tongue-tied as Geralt tries not to laugh. There’s also an unsavory part at the end where Roach decides to take a dump right beside Geralt but you know what they say, never work with animals or children so it’s to be expected!

As forThe Witcherdocumentary-style video, which is actually the secondWitcher Bestiary video, it starts out by trying to figure out what the very first monster we witness in season one is. If you remember, Geralt and others are standing around as a tiny, disembodied head falls at their feet but never discussing what it actually is. In the video that you may watch below, they go back toThe Witcherbooks in Sword of Destiny and also by asking producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich who confirms that it’s actually a Basilisk,a birdlike draconid that can terrorize communities. The video gives a really in-depth, if not a bit on the silly side, look into the monster’s real-world origins and for anyone who loves anythingWitcherrelated, like me, you’re going to enjoy this one.

Also included in the video is how the cute Hirikka was actually created with a dash of dragons, ghouls, and a few little surprises in there, too. Although the video does have a slight spoiler towards the end, it’s best if you haven’t already seen season one, to come back to the video once you have done so. I love these videos and I hope we will get to see a trailer highlighting what’s in store for us in season two which should be here next year sometime
