My Hero Academia Chapter 397 Spoilers

The upcoming chapter is titled “Picking Up The Trash,” and it kicks off with All Might expressing a sense of regret about battling a young man when he’s crossed the 50-year mark. He reflects on All For One’s journey from once feeling hatred to now harnessing it to steal All For One.

This fuels All Might’s resolve to capitalize on this weakness and continue his verbal jabs. He asserts that All For One isn’t some unstoppable demon lord, given that even someone without a Quirk can stand up against him. This claim further fans the flames of All For One’s anger. All For One then unleashes a powerful combination of various Quirks, triggering a massive explosion that propels All Might through the air.

During this intense clash, it becomes evident that All For One has begun haphazardly blending Quirks. However, his Utility Cloak’s automatic guard, known as Dark Shadow, safeguards him. Recognizing that his taunting is taking a toll, All Might decides to persist with his verbal provocations. Hercules reports significant damage to the cape and armor, prompting All Might to activate Support Mode at maximum capacity. All For One belittles the situation, asserting that this is far from a genuine fight and he’s merely disposing of the trash.

The exchange of verbal barbs continues, with All For One mocking All Might’s upgraded appearance as a mere “garbage bag” disguise. He contends that obliterating the armor would suffice, as these gadgets are insufficient to defeat him. In a moment of reflection, All Might recall advising Deku during the cultural festival, cautioning against over-reliance on support items based on his observation of other fallen pro heroes. This introspection is interwoven with memories of his initial encounter with Nana.

Nana hovers over vanquished villains and questions Toshinori’s plan to confront them armed only with a metal pipe. The narrative then returns to the present as All Might get ready for another assault. All For One brushes off All Might’s attempts at baiting, confidently asserting his impending victory and declaring his halt to “take out the garbage.” All Might retorts, urging him to abandon the excuses as the spectacle becomes increasingly difficult to witness.
