This is a thing of the past inMonster Hunter Wilds.
Monster Hunter Jhokes on X posted a clip of the reveal, but it’s now confirmed that there is no gender-locked armor inMonster Hunter Wilds.
This means you can wear both male and female armor variants regardless of your Hunter choice at the start of the game.

Why Are These Arnor Changes Such A Big Deal?
Monster Hunterhas traditionally offered varied armor, but some series tropes are slightly restrictive.
Male armor is typically bulky and broad, while female armor is often a more scantily clad affair.
Many players enjoy the latter, but these changes should please everybody. Some armor sets look ridiculous no matter who’s wearing them. There will at least be some wiggle room if you want those sweet stats.

Monster Hunter World-style mounting is back.Traditional Mounting was changed in the latest title,Monster Hunter Rise. The removal fits the game’s style, but many will be pleased to see it return.
