Still, an actual release date would be an enormous boon. In the run-up to Switch 2’s essential first holiday season,the Pokemon Z-A bundleis positioned to be the big system seller, but what about those who aren’tPokemonplayers? I’m not saying a Switch 2/Joy-Con combo in Samus' trademark orange and red color scheme is remotely likely, but Iamsaying that I’d battle Ridley himself in a bareknuckle fight to get my hands on one.
Prime was the sub-series that put Metroid on the map for millions. The original, back on the GameCube, is still revered as one of the greatest games that system ever saw.
The excitement when the first game’s remaster shadow dropped just proved that it’s as beloved as it ever was. Though I managed to get hopelessly lost several times (I absolutely could not remember where the heck to go after retrieving the Gravity Suit), I had as much fun reliving it as I did experiencing it for the first time in 2003. It’s absolutelyone of Nintendo’s best-looking games to date, as well.
