What Happened Previously On Mashle: Magic And Muscles?
The story starts by showcasing a world where magic was a natural part of everyday life, and everyone was indulged in performing magic. The scene then shifted to Regro and his son, Mash, living in isolation in the forest, as Mash was unable to use magic. When Mash accidentally broke the door to their house, Regro became angry and yelled at him. Regro was also upset that Mash’s training routine was solely physical and promised to tell him the reason why later.
After Regro left, Mash headed to the city to get some food. People noticed Mash’s unmarked face and stared at him. Mash bumped into a drunk policeman, Terry, who became infuriated when Mash spilled cream on his uniform. Mash offered him a cream puff as an apology, but Terry got even angrier and knocked it to the ground. Mash then ripped the uniform off of Terry to take it and wash it. Brad, a magical police officer, showed up and recognized Mash as the unmarked kid from a report he had received earlier.
Back at their house, Regro yelled at Mash for going to the city and punished him by making him repeat his morning training routine. Brad, Terry, and another police officer broke through the wall, looking for Mash. Brad believed that unmarked people were inferior and had no right to live. Regro refused to tell Brad where Mash was hiding and was beaten up as a result.
Regro recalled how his family and bosses saw him as a failure because his magic was weak. However, when he found an abandoned baby with no mark, he felt a sense of purpose and decided to become the child’s father. Regro told Mash to run, and Brad realized that Mash must be the child that Regro had adopted.
