Marvel SNAP
Best Hope Summers Decks
Hope Summers' Ability states, “After you play a card here, you get +1 Energy next turn.” This means, that if players put her down on turn three, each time they play a card in her lane, they willreceive an additional Energy on the following turn. This can be extremely useful in ramp decks or decks that require getting high-Cost cards down on the board as early as possible. These decks usually utilize high-Cost, high-impact cards likeDestroyer,Galactus, orHela.
After you play a card here, you get +1 Energy next turn.

Hope Summers Cerebro-3 Deck
This deck doesn’t necessarily fall under the “ramp deck” umbrella, but Hope is a useful addition to what is otherwise a pretty solid deck. Cerebro-3 relies on players placing down several 3-Power cards and then greatly boosting that Power usingCerebroandMystique. The ideal win strategy here is to play down several cards and then end the game by playing Cerebro and Mystique together, causing each of the 3-Power cards to increase to 7-Power cards.
There are a few useful Abilities within this deck, likeValkyrie’s Ability to turn all cards in the given lane to 3-Power cards. This means, that if she is played in the same lane as Mystique and Cerebro, they will become 3-Power cards and boost themselves!Bastis a great card to play early in the match, as she will convert all cards in your hand to 3-Power cards. This can be useful when you have cards like Mystique, Cerebro, orMagikin your hand as they will all receive that boost later in the game.

Magik throwing an extra turn onto the game can be a real lifesaver, as most 3-Power cards are low-Cost. You can easily get two or three cards thrown down on that seventh turn sweeping a lane or two.Cosmo,Shang-Chi, andLeechserve as tech cards in this deck and can single-handedly win you a game. Many meta decks right now rely on late-game 6-Cost plays, so Leech can be a real MVP at times.

Hope Summers Galactus Deck
This may not be the most obvious use of Hope Summers, but it is one that players should ponder as the opponent will not expect the bigGalactusplay. Hope Summers can help players get 6-Power on turn five, leading to an early Galactus play and potentially winning the game. If Galactus manages to cut the game down to one lane, players can follow up withAlioth,Green Goblin, orHobgoblinto secure a victory.Shang-ChiandDeathare also great post-Galactus plays and can pull a lane or disrupt the opponent’s strategy.
Waveis a great Plan A, as very little beats playing Galactus on turn four.Daredevilcan allow you to see where the enemy is playing when you make that turn five Galactus play.Nimrod, if played before Galactus, can throw himself into the remaining lane after the cosmic dust of the world-eater settles.

Hope Summers Silver Surfer Deck
This deck focuses onSilver Surfer’s Ability to increase the Power of 3-Cost cards. The ideal play here is to put as many 3-Cost cards on the board as possible and then play Silver Surfer, potentially following him up withAbsorbing ManorOdinto trigger his Ability multiple times. With cards likeMagik(to extend the game),Brood, andSera(to lower the Cost of all cards by one), players shouldn’t have any trouble filling the board with 3-Costs. If Absorbing Man isn’t pulled in an ideal order, he can also be used after Brood to spawn two additional 3-Cost Broodlings.
Some pretty decent synergies exist in this deck likeStormfollowed byJuggernaut, Storm followed by Brood, orGladiatorfollowed byShang-Chi(if needed). This deck can easily pull two lanes, especially with the help of Magik and Sera.

Best Hope Summers Counters
Hope Summers doesn’t have the most obvious counters, withCosmoandEnchantress(the typical occupants of this section of the guide) falling by the wayside due to her Ability being neither Ongoing nor On Reveal. Her strategy can still be disrupted though. Since she relies on cards being played in her lane,Professor XorJean Grey, which both force players to play in (or not play in) a specific lane, can be devastating to her gameplay.
Best Hope Summers Synergies
Hope Summers works great with high-Cost cards that want to be played as early as possible. Galactus and Destroyer are great examples! Increasing your max Energy using Hope can be a tiny bit tricky since you’ll need to play a card in her lane to see the benefits, but it is still possible to play a 6-Cost card on turn five while using Hope Summers.
Is Hope Summers Worth It?
Hope Summers is a season pass card, which means acquiring her costs real-world money. The season pass will cost $9.99 USD (or local equivalent) and will come with access to several locked tiers of the season pass. Players will get new variants, gold, mystery variants, credits, and more when they purchase and complete the pass. Hope Summers can be acquired at a later date without purchasing the season pass, and we avoid suggesting players spend their hard-earned money on a free-to-play game so the decision of whether to go for the Hope Summers season pass or not is up to the individual playing.
