It was an open secret that Insomniac was working on a multiplayer title, and fans have long speculated it was Marvel-related and it was a Spider-Man multiplayer until its cancellation for reasons unknown.
After the ransomware attack on Insomniac, terabytes of data have been leaked and sold as well as sensitive information like personnel details, unfinished gameplay footage, and even plans in the coming years. The leaked concept video even laid out a well-polished plan that involves in-game features and content like raids, villain story arcs, multiplayer activities, and more. It is baffling to see a project with great potential be scrapped and the reasons behind it may upset fans even more.
