Marvel Rivals Puts Competitive Balance Second – Here’s Why
Balance isn’t NetEase’s number-one priority with Marvel Rivals. It’s up there, but they have grander plans in mind.
The Marvel Rivals servers will be taken offline temporarily for a few hours on April 11 at 2 am PDT/5 am EDT. NetEase says it will last for approximately for 2-3 hours. During this time, the game will be unplayable, and that includes the practice range
While Marvel Rivals' servers will be offline, players will then be promoted to download the update that houses Season 2. Even if you may install it, you still won’t be able to go online until the servers are back up.
The big new addition this Season 2 is Emma Frost, which is a new Vanguard (tank) hero. Alongside the new content, there are alsobalance changes, and general bug fixes that are available in thepatch notes.
For those with extra cash to spare, there will also be a new Battle Pass dropping as well, which introduces new skins, emotes and more. Check out a preview of the incoming new items in it in the trailer.

Will we see something as silyas Venom twerkingin Season 2? Given how popular it is, I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s just the start. Expect a mid-season patch to be released a month or so after the Season 2 patch, which will usher in another hero, gameplay changes and more.
