PC Settings for the Best FPS in Marvel Rivals
The first thing we need to do is go into the in-game settings. While certain PCs may be able to handle higher settings without FPS drop-off, the reality is thatmost competitive players will play on the lowest settings possible.
There’s no need to show off cutting-edge graphics; being able to pick up on small details is crucial to performing well in any team-based shooter.
Thankfully,Marvel Rivalsdoesn’t require a cutting-edge computer to play the game, so most setups can handle things well. Still, there is some additional tweaking we can do to maximize FPS.
First, from the game’s start screen, click the cogwheel at the top right.
That will bring up the in-game menu. Click settings, and that will take you to the in-game settings menu. Display is the default menu, which is where we want to be.
To start, we want to make sure we’ve enabled a couple of settings, as indicated below.
Your resolution should be 1920x1080. No matter how strong your computer is, you do not need to run this game in 4K. Do not run it in 4K if you want the highest possible FPS.
Make sure your display mode is also set to Fullscreen, as it will result in a higher FPS than ‘Borderless Windowed.’
I’ve chosen DLSS for my anti-aliasing because I have an NVIDIA graphics card. For Intel cards, choose Xess; for AMD cards, choose FSR.
Make sure V-Sync is turned off.I know a lot of my games have it on to stabilize graphical performance, but it caps FPS. We’re trying to achieve the highest FPS possible here, so turn it off.
In terms of in-game graphical settings, it’s best to keep it simple:set your graphics quality to low. Don’t optimize for your setup because that will sacrifice your frame rate.

Marvel Rivals has hit 20 million players, and NetEase is giving out an in-game spray as a “thank you” gift.
A Pastebin file also helped achieve upwards of 200+ FPS at the game’s launch. However,NetEasehas reportedly been banning people for using it.
Additionally, subsequent updates have nerfed the Pastebin hack, meaning you may get a higher FPS without having to do it.Do not download a Pastebin file that will update your game’s system settings for FPS. It’s not worth it.
How to Display FPS In-Game For Marvel Rivals
What’s the point of achieving the maximum possible FPS forMarvel Rivalsif you can’t admire it? Thankfully, you can enable your FPS in-game in this same menu.
verify the Show FPS setting is clicked on, with the dongle to the right and the checkmark appearing.
From there, you’ll be able to see your FPS during a match! It will always be higher when little to no action is happening on screen, like the example below.
You can easily reach over 100 FPS with these settings, even in team fights and skirmishes. Obviously, the more powerful the computer you have, the better the FPS.
