Recently,League of Legendsgameplay design director Mark Yetter shared a preview of the upcoming patch to the game, revealing all the champions that will be either buffed or nerfed along with items and systems with similar changes. A quick look atLeague of Legends11.4 patch notes preview indicates thatRiot Gamesis trying to buff Champions who are on the edge of having a 50% win-rate in Platinum ranks and above. In patch 11.4, while the overall number of nerfs are bigger than buffs when it comes to the Champions, you find more love towards them. Caitlyn, Fiora, Soraka, Varus, Braum, Jinx, Veigar, Talon, Lee Sin, Amumu, and Tryndamere are all the champions receiving buffs in the upcoming patch. With Lee Sin’s win rate in Platinum ranks and above revolving around 46%, it seems an increase in the champion’s base damage on his abilities would help the Blind Monk to be a more useful character.
Aside from champions, some items such as Everfrost, Cosmic Drive, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Chempunk Chainsword, Mortal Reminder, and Morellonomicon will receive buffs as well.
On the other hand, Amumu is the other champion with a similar win rate of 48.5% in the same ranks that lost her power in the items by multiple nerfs in the past, but now she is about to receive more attention from the developers, which could get her to the upper positions of the win-rate chart.
Going to the opposite side of theLeague of Legends11.4 patch notes, you will find Samira, Kai’Sa, Skarner, Renekton, and Camille getting nerfs. Although it’s unclear yet how the nerfs will affect all of these champions, especially Kai’Sa, we might have a clue about Samira’s nerf. According to some sources, Samira will see a reduction in speed while losing her dashing ability towards the allies. Her AD ratio and Whirl duration could also be affected by the upcoming update.
