Ona social media post, the game’s PR director Sir Tobi revealed thatKingdom Come: Deliverance 2would give reviewersfour whole weeksto experience the game.
The wording on the post goes on to hint that the game may not have any embargo period, which is a welcome rarity these days.
Sir Tobi told players to “expect some (final) first impressions next week”, which coincides with when the keys will reach the press andcontent creators.

A Tale Of Embargos
The concept of the news embargo is nothing nefarious in itself. Multiple insider news and review pieces require the outlet to hold them until an agreed time.
Having a set time that all publishers can aim for creates a level playing fieldand removes the incentive to jump the gun to chase early views.
Without an embargo, some outlets and creators can rush to be the first out the door, even if it means sacrificing the quality of the review. This is especially a problem forgames that require 10 or more hoursto get a good impression.
At the same time, embargos are often used to obscure players on problems encountered in the game or to buy the developers time to fix things ahead of release.
It is understandable thatstudios would like the first public impressions of the game to match the product that players geton day one, but to that end, it raises questions about planning within game development teams.
