Kendrick Lamar‘s performance at theSuper Bowl LIX Halftime Showwas a blast, even though the reviews it has been getting are pretty much mixed. For one, it was unexpected, featured quite a bit of teasing, and had the 20-time Grammy-winning rapper delivering a performance that was both visually stunning and emotionally charged.

He initially said, “I want to play their favorite song, but you know they love to sue,” referring to his rival suing him over the allegations he put on him (viaSporting News). But then Lamar flipped the tables.
