What Is Blood Manipulation Technique In Jujutsu Kaisen?
True to its name, the Blood Manipulation technique revolves around the user’s ability to control and manipulate their own blood. In the realm of Jujutsu Kaisen, many abilities are handed down through generations within specific clans. The Blood Manipulation Technique is no exception and is considered a divine inheritance bestowed upon the Kamo family. This clan, known for its formidable powers, is among the prestigious Big Three Sorcerer Families within the series.
For members of the Kamo family, blood is more than just the red fluid coursing through their veins; it’s a potent weapon. Within this clan, individuals have the unique ability to control every facet of blood, including red blood cells (RBCs), white blood cells (WBCs), plasma, and more. This mastery over the components of blood empowers them to employ a diverse range of techniques in combat, making the Kamo family members versatile Sorcerers.
Although Choso isn’t a direct descendant of the Kamo clan, his connection to the clan is rather unconventional. Kenjaku, taking over the body of Noritoshi Kamo, who is an ancestor of the Kamo Clan, entered into a relationship with Choso’s mother. This unorthodox union led to the birth of Choso and his brothers, granting Choso the unique ability to wield the Blood Manipulation Technique.
Powerful Abilities Of Blood Manipulation Technique
The power to manipulate one’s own blood leads to the emergence of a variety of deadly abilities. Within the series, Choso and Noritoshi Kamo have given us a good look at what Blood Manipulation is capable of. One such technique, known as theFlowing Red Scale, involves increasing the user’s body temperature and pulse rate, resulting in a significant boost in energy levels and physical capabilities.
The Blood Manipulation Technique primarily excels in offense, offering a diverse range of lethal applications. From using blood to slice opponents into clear pieces at the speed of sound to turning it into a projectile akin to a gunshot for piercing enemies, it’s a perfect offensive technique. Choso introduced the Supernova technique, where he compresses blood to its limits using Convergence, forming multiple small blood balls to increase the chances of hitting the enemy. Blood Manipulation even allows for altering the blood’s composition to create deadly weapons.
