Survivorhas been a major cornerstone of the CBS network, with 40-plus seasons to its name. Along with the show host Jeff Probst has also received a lot of accolades for his remarkable presentation. All these elements were revealed by Jeff Probst himself when he appeared in an interview viaEntertainment Weekly. After his inputs on the run time of the show, he dived deeper into what the fans can expect from the upcoming Season 47 finale.
He added that the viewers should expect a“dramatic fire-making showdown”as well as a“real battle at the Tribal Council.”This adds more to the tensions of last week, when two players Andy Rueda and Genevieve Mushaluk wereeliminated from the show. This left Rachel Lamont, Sue Smey, Sam Phalen, and Teeny Chirichillo as the final four fighting it out for the grand prize.

But there’s more to celebrate this season, asSurvivor47 has made history by achieving something that hasn’t been seen in over 15 years: a female-dominated game. This was revealed by a Reddit user, who detailed that from the start of the season all the way to the final four, there was never a point when the men outnumbered the women.
This last time this happened was during the iconicMicronesiaseason in 2008. While other seasons likeIsland of the IdolsandSurvivor46 came close but this the first time in over a decade that the women have truly taken control of the game.

While fans are currently cheering for Season 47 ofSurvivor, Season 46 also had its fair share of jaw-dropping moments. One such moment involved host Jeff Probst when he shocked the players with a bold prediction before a big task. The nine remaining contestants split into three teams of three for the challenge, and when Probst saw Q Burdette, Liz Wilcox, and Venus Vafa in the same team he made a surprising statement.
He added viaEW“I’m going to put my Survivor fan hat on again and go out on a limb right now”adding that Q, Liz, and Venus are first out with no shot. The team was obviously left stunned by his comments and replied,“Thanks for the vote of confidence Jeff”with the host adding“Prove me wrong.”

I’m always evolving. I wish I could tell you I had a specific approach to how I host Survivor, but I don’t. The only two things I’ve stayed true to over 23 years is being myself and asking the questions that I think the audience is asking at home.
He continued:
So when you take the audience point of view as your point of view, it gives you a lot of room to roam because there is so much human behavior on display and so many decisions being made at any given moment.
The host also added that this approach of his lets him connect with the players and the viewers. He also detailed how much he enjoys being part of the show adding“I can’t imagine being stimulated like I am on Survivor on another show.”As for the challenge, the contestants did manage to prove Probst wrong as Q, Liz, and Venus weren’t the first team to be eliminated.
