Florence Pughrecently gave an interview withBuzz Feedalongside Austin Butler for the promotion of their upcoming film,Dune: Part Two. Here, the pair were asked what professions they would have opted for had they not been actors.
Bulter went first, stating that he had always loved cooking and would have perhaps become a chef. Pugh’s answer was much more complex.
“I love anything that is gross-y and beauty-hack-ish. So I love spots and blackheads and cleaning them out.”Pugh stated.
The actress revealed that she had always had a fascination with dermatological things that the masses would find to be disgusting. She elaborated on what she meant by this, stating that she found skin-related issues very riveting and had the perfect career in mind for this interest.

It is very common for actors to have to pursue other interests when they are trying to enter the gilded gates of Hollywood considering the few number of people who are allowed to pass through. Florence Pugh was not different in this. She went on to state that she wanted to pursue the skin fascination she had as a child if her acting career did not work out.
“So I was younger, I had this idea that if acting and performing didn’t go down well, I would open up my own beauticians, but it would be called ‘Pugh-tician’.”She went on.

The Oscar-nominated actress wanted to become a beautician and open her own practice. Pugh has even decided on a name for her practice, referring to it as ‘Pugh-tician’, as a play on her own name. The actress even joked that this plan was still running strong and would eventually take shape.
