Harrison Ford is one of the most well-known and respected actors in Hollywood. He has been the face of some of the most iconic characters of all time and has even starred in more franchises than most in the film industry. Through his classic roles, he has gained immense popularity and become the legend that he is today. While many would assume that playing Indiana Jones and Han Solo would be enough for him, the actor is now playing the role of Red Hulk.

During a recent interview, he was asked what it was like for him to play the character. Rather than being indirect and dramatic about it, Ford picked brutal honesty to answer the question. Unfortunately, this has not gone well with the fans.
The Red Hulk—The Money Machine?
During a recent interview withVariety(viaDiscussing Film),Harrison Fordwas asked what it took for him to play the live-action version of the Red Hulk. While Thaddeus Ross is a very stoic and smart person, his personality can drastically change when he turns into the Red Hulk. Although the Red Hulk can have his moments, he is certainly not the smartest person in the room.
With this trait in mind, Ford revealed what it was like for him to play the character inCaptain America: Brave New World, mentioning that it required him not to care about the fact that he was playing a dumber version of himself. It required him to play an idiotic character for the sake of the money he was going to earn for the role.

After mentioning this, the actor revealed that this experience wasn’t new for him as he had done something similar in the past, nodding to his time playing Han Solo. TheStar Warscharacter was very concerned with money during his first appearances.
Harrison Ford’s Honesty May Have Cost Him
Although many of Harrison Ford’s fans would find his honesty refreshing, others could not help but be slightly offended that he only tookthe Marvel rolebecause he wanted to earn money. While many actors do end up joining projects for purely financial reasons, it is rare for them to admit it to the world so openly. The reason for this is that such truths come with a lot of backlash.
Some fans pointed out how they were upset that the actor only wanted to play one of the most iconic characters in Marvel Comics for the sake of cash. At the same time, there were fans who were supportive of Ford and his approach to the character.
