In an exciting turn of events, popular American YouTuber and online streamer IShowSpeed made a big revelation about his channel being whitelisted for streamingOne Pieceepisodes. In a recent stream, Speed pointed out that he met with one of the producers ofOne Piece, and she has supposedly allowed him to stream the episodes of the anime on his channel.

This is certainly a big achievement for the YouTuber, considering the fact that the studio and the creators ofOne Pieceare quite strict when it comes to such things. Thus, there were many fans who didn’t believe Speed’s enticing news and pointed out that the popular YouTuber might have been duped by someone posing as a member of theOne Piecefranchise.
This was evidently confirmed by one of the officialOne Piecestaff members who is currently working on the live-action adaptation of the series. The staff member pointed out that he does not believe Speed got the green light to streamOne Pieceanime episodes, as it will cause big problems with the streaming platforms that streamOne Piece.

IShowSpeed’s claim about streamingOne Piece
Ever since IShowSpeed’s career as an online streamer took off, he has proved himself to be a massiveOne Piecefan. He has openly talked about his love for the series and how it has changed his life. Not only that, he even pointed out that a few years ago,One Pieceliterally saved his lifeand brought him out of depression during a tough moment.

The American YouTuber recently showcased his massively expensive gaming PC setup, which is entirely based on the theme ofOne Piece. It includes significant aspects of the series, like the Straw Hat Pirates Jolly Roger and a 3D-printed Luffy head hanging right on top of him. He truly proved that he is one of the biggestOne Piecefans in the world.
However, things became overly exciting when Speed announced on his stream that he recently met with aOne Pieceproducer who has agreed to whitelist his YouTube channel, which would allow him to streamOne Pieceepisodeswithout getting copyrighted. He even pointed out that he has a vlog coming up that would prove all his claims to be true.

One Piecestaff doesn’t believe in IShowSpeed’s claim
Greg Werner is the series advisor for theOne Piecelive-action adaptation on Netflix. Just like Speed, he is also one of the biggest fans of the series, and his love forOne Piecegot him the opportunity to work for theOne Piecefranchise as an official member. Werner recently shared a tweet on X that talked about Speed’s claim of getting the rights to streamOne Piece.
While the tweet doesn’t directly mentionIShowSpeed’sname, it pointed out the claim made by him. In the tweet, Werner stated that it is likely that he met with an “oblivious low-rung Toei US-based employee” who allowed him to showOne Piececlips on his channel.

“So-and-so got permission to show every episode of One Piece.“No they didn’t 🤣Maybe an oblivious low-rung Toei US-based employee told them they could use clips. MaybeBut if anyone showed full eps for free, every single OP streaming service would be raising eyebrows.
He also pointed out that if he gets the green light to streamOne Piece, it would cause big problems with the official streaming platforms that paid millions for the rights to streamOne Piece.
