Linda Hamilton will not be watching the fifth season ofStranger Things
In a recent interview withUs Weekly, actressLinda Hamiltonrevealed that she will not watch the fifth and final season ofStranger Thingsbecause she will be appearing in it,
“I’ve watched every season with relish. I just love it – So it’s kind of, like, impostor syndrome where I don’t [feel that I] fit in there. That’s a whole world set in the ’80s. When you really buy into something, you don’t see yourself in it. So I think, in a way, it kind of ruined the show for me. I never watch [a project], once I’m in something – It would just completely take me out of the reality of it to see myself in there. So I won’t be watching [Season 5].”

It has been confirmed that Hamilton will join the cast ofStranger Things‘ fifth season, however, her role in the series is yet to be revealed. During her prime years, Linda was well known forplaying tough, resilient charactersso, it makes sense why she has joined the show.

The creators of the show have not revealed the ending to Linda Hamilton
Further in the interview, Linda Hamilton revealed that she doesn’t know how the show ends. Not only that, she only has a basic idea of her character for now,
“I Zoomed [creators] Ross and Matt Duffer, and they gave me the shape of the character, but not of the story. Because they have to be very careful with their story. So I still don’t know how it ends – And it takes a lot of discipline to not know where it’s going to go. But that’s to protect it from all of the people that want to know.”

Leakscertainly ruin the showfor the fans as well as the creators, so it is best for the Duffer brothers to keep it hidden. The show was renewed for a fifth season in February 2023 and the shooting reportedly began in January 2024. At this rate, fans can expect the season to drop sometime in 2025.
