Actress Rebecca Ferguson is known for her work in theMission: ImpossibleandDunefranchises. The actress plays the lead role of Juliette Nichols in the dystopian drama seriesSilo. It is based on a trilogy of novels by author Hugh Howey and is slated to return for a second installment. As a result, Ferguson appeared on a podcast to promote the new season.

During the podcast, Ferguson revealed her admiration for the show’s set and production design. At the same time, Ferguson admitted to stealing trinkets from the set, proving to be a menace for the series. Ahead of the show’s second season, Ferguson appeared on theUnWrappedpodcast to promote the new installment. During the conversation, Ferguson admitted that she loved the practical sets that had been built to shoot the series.

I steal so much stuff from set because the things are so amazing but then I leave them in my bag.
Ferguson made the above statement, admitting to stealing several props from the show’s set. However, the actress added that before taking the items home, she always informed the props department.

Furthermore, Ferguson stated that she kept a track record of the items she had picked from the set in case any of them were required later. From her words, it is evident that Ferguson loved picking up trinkets from the show’s sets and does not intend to stop anytime soon. However, she also does not intend to harm the production with her little side quest.

In the same interview, Ferguson also opened up about her involvement in the series as an actress and executive producer. TheDuneactress revealed that sheinitially rejected the seriesbefore changing her mind.
Ferguson revealed that signing for the series required her to commit for at least four seasons due to the source material’s length. She said:

There were a couple of things that I wasn’t really loving so I turned it down.
The actress added that after she rejected the role, the producers came back to her and sought her feedback, especially regarding the aspects she was not quite on board with.

Based on Ferguson’s feedback several aspects of the pilot’s script were changed and she was intrigued by the revised script. As a result, Ferguson asked for scripts for other episodes, leading to creator Graham Yost asking her to join as an executive producer.

Ultimately, the changes benefitted the series as the first season received positive reviews from critics. Moreover, Ferguson’s leading performance was hailed by critics as a standout aspect of the series. The second installment, which will comprise ten episodes will premiere on June 05, 2025.
