Diddy and Kim Porter had a relationship that continued from 1994 until 2007 with frequent gaps in between. They had three children together, Christian Combs and twins Jessie Combs and D’Lila Combs. It was reported that Diddy often lost temper around Porter and treated her with disrespect. The latest allegation comes from a journalist, who spoke out inThe Fall of Diddydocumentary.

While Danyel Smith witnessed no violent encounters, she remembered one incident between the couple that could fall into abuse. Smith shared that Diddy went off against Porter in front of her friends, shaming and scaring her. Diddy’s attorneys have dismissed the claim and the entire documentary.

Ever since his issue with ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura came out, fans have been wondering about his and Porter’s relationship.

Some people didn’t have anything nice to say about that relationship. In the documentary, we get an account from Journalist Danyel Smith about their relationship. Smith claimed that she was friends with Porter and once spent a girls’ night with her at a club where she encountered theVictorysinger.
Smith shared that Diddy entered the club, saw Porter, and“everything just turned on a dime.”Smith added that it wasn’t anything new as she had seen him act rude towards Porter. Smith shared that Diddy started going off against Porter and even emptied her handbag in front of her friends. She shared in the documentary (via The Mirror):

I’ve seen him act in ways around Kim that were just awful and very mean. I knew [Kim] well enough to occasionally socialize with her. It was a last-minute girls’ night, Kim Porter and some other girlfriends. He just started hollering at her that she should be at home and not out. And then he grabbed her handbag and literally turned it upside down. He just emptied it out in front of everybody.
Smith shared that it was Diddy’s attempt to“shame”her in front of people and make her feel“small”and“scared”. Smith added,“I never saw him put a hand on her, but as we all know, that’s not the only kind of abuse.”Diddy’s attorneys shared that the documentary was made to“cash in on the media circus surrounding Mr. Combs”, thus denying Smith’s claims.

It wasn’t the first time Diddy was accused of treating Kim Porter badly
Diddy’s former bodyguard Gene Deal claimed thatDiddy treated Kim Porter badlyduring their relationship. Deal toldCam Capone Newsduring an interview that he had seen Diddy getting physical with Porter. However, he clarified that he never saw him break Porter’s nose, which was one of the allegations brought up against the singer.

Deal shared,“I’ve never seen Puff put his hands on Kim like that other than snatching her and grabbing her.”He shared that even the little moments between them, like a playfight with pillows, would lead to Diddy getting a little rough with Porter.
In the Peacock documentaryDiddy: the Making of a Bad Boy, Porter’s ex-boyfriend Al B. Sure! shared that Porter had warned him of Diddy’s wrath (via E!Online). He claimed that Porter told himnot to mess with the Bad Boy CEOor that he would be killed. He added that she was not only trying to save him but also put her life in danger.

In 2018, Kim Porter died from lobar pneumonia, and her cause of death was determined to be natural. After Diddy’s arrest, speculations arose about Porter’s manner of death. Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila along with Quincy refuted the allegations of Diddy’s involvement.
