Claiming how her commitment to authenticity led her to insist on the n*ked scene, Robbie mentioned how Scorsese had initially suggested she could wear a robe if she felt uncomfortable.
That’s not what she would do in that scene. The whole point is that she’s going to come out completely n*ked—that’s the card she’s playing.

Admitting how her managers made her redo her audition tapes five times, Robbie claimed to be grateful for that, before proceeding with her iconic and scary improvisation during the final audition.

While the script clearly mentioned kissing DiCaprio’s character, Robbie admitted to flipping the script and going with her instincts.
I thought, I could kiss Leonardo DiCaprio right now, and that would be awesome. I can’t wait to tell all of my friends this. And then I thought… nah. And just walloped him in the face.
