After taking an extended break from acting, Jennifer Lawrence marked her return to showbiz with Adam McKay’sDon’t Look Up, which starred several high-profile actors. Among them included an elated Timothée Chalamet, who was coming off to sets after spending 14 days by himself in the quarantine, as Covid was far from over when the production for the film kickstarted.

However, it seems his excitement got the better of him during his first day on the set, as Lawrence recalled being annoyed by theWonkaStar’s excessive enthusiasm.

Unlike Calah Lane, who had a great time working with Chalamet onWonka,statinghe was“very fun”on set, the opposite was the case for Lawrence when she first came across the actor. TheHunger GamesStar joked that she was absolutely annoyed while sharing a ride withLeonardo DiCaprioandTimothée Chalamet. Following theWonkaStar’s enthusiasm to finally be back to work, accompanied by DiCaprio’s history lesson on The Mills Brothers’Till Then, Lawrence joked the duo drove her crazy.

Speaking onThe Late Show With Stephen Colbert, sherecalled:
“It was the most annoying day of my life, I’ll tell you that. They drove me crazy that day. I don’t know what it was. Timothée was just excited to be out of the house, I think it was his first scene. And Leo had picked the song that was playing in the car and was just like, ‘You know, this song is about blah, blah, blah.’ I don’t know. I just remember being in absolute misery that day.”
Later Speaking withGQ, Chalamet elaborated on the subject, stating he was buzzing after finally being allowed to be on set, which was a bit too much for a returning Lawrence.

“By the time I got to set I was buzzing. That was the day Jennifer said was the most annoying day of her life, working with me and Leo. I exploded out of my room.”

However, theMotherStar doesn’t hold it against Chalamet and Dicaprio, as in the same interview, she stressed they were very nice.

While he left a bad first impression on theMotherStar, there was seemingly no sort of rift between Dicaprio and him inDon’t Look Up, with the former even giving Chalament some career advice. TheDuneStar recently recalled thatthe Oscar Winneradvised him two things – not to do drugs and superhero movies.
He toldThe New York Times:
“Well, Leonardo DiCaprio said to me, ‘No superhero movies, no hard drugs’, which I thought was very good. I follow them both!”

Being a fan ofThe Dark Knight,theDuneStar left some room for exception, stressing that if the script and the director are great, he would consider doing a superhero flick.
