After this discovery, Dr. Mark Chavez was charged with conspiring to distribute ketamine illegally, and it was linked to Perry’s death. The doctor later pled guilty to one count of conspiracy and admitted that he was involved in providing the substance that led to Perry’s untimely death. Chavez could face jail time of up to 10 years, with the sentence scheduled for 2025 (viaTV Line).
