Released on September 26th,Echoes of Wisdommet with good reviews, as it offered a fresh new approach to the franchise. The game not only introduced a new visual style with new mechanics and combat systems, but it also placed Princess Zelda in the role of the protagonist.
While the game presented players with new mechanics like magical artifacts and echoes of enemies (which could be summoned to fight alongside Zelda), as fans went deeper into the gameplay, they found the game to be easy and somewhat repetitive.
