Although the new features are not that big, it could still give the mode a little purpose in the coaching area, and raise the importance of pre-match decisions.

Let’s get more familiar with Weekly Strategy and Staff Management inMadden 22.

How to Benefit From Weekly Strategy

Weekly Strategy is a new panel inFranchisemode that rewards players who stick to their plans during the game. During each game week, you will receive a report from analyzers about the weakness and strengths of your opponent team. Based on that, you may choose a Defensive and an Offensive focus in the training session.

Based on the focus you choose, some Plays in your Playbook will be highlighted with green light during the game. Now, if you choose these highlighted Plays, it means you are playing according to what you have already practiced in the training sessions. As a result, your players' ratings will be a little bit higher when you are using highlighted Plays.

So, this is important to choose the focus based on your play style, rather than leaving it on the default form.

How to Upgrade Staff Management in Madden 22

The Staff Management system is the other new addition to the Franchise mode inMadden 22. This simply allows players to have slight control over the coaching team.

The board includes Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and Player Personnel. Each one of them has its own skill tree. You can spend Staff Points to obtain your desired skills which affect your team in different positive ways.

Staff Points can be earned by completing the Staff Management objectives, winning games, or nailing the Season Goals.
