In Wytchwood, crafting is the most important mechanic because it is the only way to progress through the game’s many quests. to craft any sort of object, players will need to collect ingredients found throughout the different regions, such as the Farm, the Market, and the Swamp. Some items, however, are not as easy to find and require some exploration. One such item isthe Totemic Moondrop, an essential crafting material that is needed to complete two Main Quests: The Snake and The Hawk.

The Snake Chapter is part of a group of four quests that you will receive from the Goat, a creature that lives near your home. To initiate the quest, you need to find and interact with the Weeping Maiden. She can be found in the Forest by the large water basin. The Weeping Maiden asks for your help in finding the Bard. You soon learn that the Bard is being held captive by the Snake in the Fairgrounds. To save the Bard, you have to confront the Snake and ultimately take its soul. This is where the Totemic Moondrop comes in, so here’s how to find and use it.
Why Do You Need The Totemic Moondrop For Main Quest: The Snake?
To complete the missions in The Snake Chapter, you will need to gather Mirror Shards to capture the soul of this creature and return it to the Goat. The shards can be found in the Forest Well, the Swamp, and the Forest Pixie’s Tree. While the Forest Well and Forest Pixie Tree shards are relatively easy to get,the Mirror Shard in the Swamp needs an essential reagent, the Moonlight Globe, in order todistract the group of Dancing Totems that guard the shard. To craft the Moonlight Globe, however, you need a Totemic Moondrop, along with a Glitter Bomb and Shiny Stones.
How To Find, Craft And Use The Totemic Moondrop
To get the Totemic Moondrop, you need to travel to the Swamp. There you have to find a single Stick Totem, an animated stick figure who has been powered by the moonlight. Unfortunately, Stick Totems are not that easy to defeat. To destroy the Stick Totem, you will need aSnagvine.
To craft a Snagvine you need:

As with all things in Wytchwood, you need to craft or collect smaller items in order to craft larger items. Seeker Vines can be easily found lying on the ground in the Swamp. In the case ofthe Sewing Kit; however, you will need 2 Reedy Twines and 1 Skeeter Snoot to craft it.Reedy Twines can be found in the Forest, the Village, and the Fields. To get a Skeeter Snoot, players will need todefeat a couple of Skeeters in the Swamp.
Once you have collected your items, you may craft a Snagvine.Deploy the Snagvine near a Stick Totem. This will render the Stick Totem immobile. Equip the Hatchet and strike it down. The Stick Totem will then yield the Totemic Moondrop and Twigs.

After you collect the Totemic Moondrop, make sure you have 2 Shiny Stones and 1 Glitter Bomb. Craft the Moonlight Globe and head to the group of Dancing Totems in the Swamp and deploy it. This will distract the Dancing Totems long enough for you to grab the Mirror Shard. The Totemic Moondrop is also used in the creation of Glamours, along with a single Foggy Perfume and Mimic’s Toe.
