One of the coolest aspects ofPokémon: Legends Arceusare all of the new region-specific forms and evolutions. With an expansive new map to explore, coming across new Pokémon is a wholly exciting new adventure.
Of the new Hisuian evolutions introduced isBasculegion, a Water/Ghost type Pokémon. Although its initial form, Basculin, has been around thePokémongames since Generation V, Basculegion is an entirely new form specific to Hisui. It has a bit of a sad origin story, as according to the game’s canon, Basculin evolves into Basculegion when it gets possessed by the souls of other Basculin.

ALL STEPS TO EVOLVE BASCULIN INTO BASCULEGION
Once you’ve found yourself a Basculin, the main thing you’ll need to do is continue training and leveling up with it. This is because you’ll need access toAgile Stylemoves orStrong Stylemoves, depending on the gender of your Basculin.
Agile StyleandStrong Styleare new ways to do Pokémon moves that change certain aspects of the move. to access them, Pokémon need to “master” moves. So, to get Basculegion, you’ll need to use the moveWave Crashenough times for Basculin to “master” it. This’ll open up the ability to useWave Crashin either theAgileorStrongStyle.

Once your Basculin has masteredWave Crashand opened up the Style ability, all it takes is continued training. Basculin of different genders have slightly different evolution requirements:
After you’ve taken 300 Recoil Damage with your Basculin, all it takes is a level up to begin the evolution sequence. And voilá! You now have a Basculegion!
Now, you can have fun and traverse Hisui using Basculegion as a mount!
