Inside Out 2continues to prove that Pixar is slowly getting back up after its streak of profit losses from the previous years, and with the studio’s new strategy – to focus and expand beloved titles – there will be a major change happening at the headquarters.
The sequel to the fan-favorite 2015 animated movie is just the beginning of the shift in plans at Pixar. Because they believe people want more from their favorite franchises, more sequels and spinoffs are heading their way.

In an exclusive interview withCinePOP,Inside Out 2director Kelsey Mann and producer Mark Nielsen revealed which superhero’s mind they want to explore. They focused on Pixar’sThe Incredibles, and Mann responded:
Whose superhero would I like to go into? My first instinct without thinking is I’d love to go into one of The Incredibles. I feel like I want to go into one of their heads. I think Mrs. Incredible could be kind of cool.
He added that he wants to know a little bit more about Helen Parr, or Elastigirl, and he wants to go inside her mind to see what she’s thinking and feeling. On the other hand, Nielsen went for the most interesting character:
I’ll go with Jack-Jack. Let’s go with the young one. I want to know what’s inside there. He clearly goes through a lot of emotions, and how he expresses, so I want to see what it looks like in there.
Mann agreed with the producer and said, “That’s great – anger – I can see the anger when he turns into like a flaming kind of baby,” before correcting himself and adding, “That’s rage, that isn’t anger, that’s rage.”
