Helldivers 2, the co-op shooter title has been full of issues lately. Players have reported that they are encountering problems with almost every aspect in the game in the form of bugs and glitches that have marred their experience.
The mechs and weapons are once again feeling worthless to players and while Arrowhead Game Studios has brought several fixes already, they are again asking the developer to bring a balance patch, fixing the issues.
Helldivers 2 Mechs and Weapons Feel Useless to Players
Helldivers 2has seen alot of issues in the last few months, to the extent that players were thinking of quitting the game. Despite Arrowhead bringing several balance patches and hotfix updates, there are still problems.

Players do find the game fun but they think most of the weapons in the game are now not worth the time. OneHelldivers 2veteran took to the game’s subreddit said that both the mechs and weapons are now worthless.
They wondered if Arrowhead will bring a balance patch soon to fix this. The weapons inHelldivers 2have been nerfed, sometimes knowingly and sometimes unknowingly with the updates, frustrating players a lot.
The problem seems to have arisen again. The weapons are basics in the game and several of them that have issues are highly used. The latest hotfix was released on July 10 and fixed some issues but there are still problems.
Several Weapons Need to Be Fixed With the Next Update
Players have said there are many weapons that are ineffective and need updates to improve them as soon as possible. Purifier and Scorcher are the weapons that players have said that needs improving the most.

One player said that they are frustrated with the arc thrower and the bugs needs to be fixed. They stated,“I would really like it if they took a patch and just completely ironed out the arc thrower, got it working consistently without any bugs.”
Another player added that the whole game needs to be optimized than just getting balance patches at random, saying,“Screw a balance patch, they need to fix the optimization.”Some fans asked the devs to buff Knight SMG, Purifier and other weapons.
While players wait for an update, one fan said that the chances of an update coming soon are unlikely stating that,“Currently there is a very long summer holiday in Sweden. Probably AH have no more reinforcements left,”with another player saying that they should only expect anything by September.
