Relics are very important pieces of equipment in Honkai Star Rail to level up your character and make them stronger. Relic sets add a specific boost to the attributes of your characters, making a significant impact during the battles. Relics have rarity levels ranging from 2 to 5 stars.
Types Of Relic Sets And Their Effects
Cavern Relics
Cavern Relics are relic sets that provide both a 2-Piece and a 4-Piece effect. These sets can be equipped in Head, Hands, Body, and Feet. Cavern Relics can be farmed in the Caverns of Corrosion.

Planar Ornaments
Planar Ornaments are relic sets that only provide a 2-Piece effect. These sets can be equipped in the Planar Sphere and Link Rope slots. Planar Ornaments can be farmed in the Simulated Universe.
Relic Stats
Relic Main Stats
The primary boost provided by each relic is called the Relic Main Stats. Each relic features one main stat. These stats can differ based on the slot where the piece is equipped.
Relic Sub Stats
The additional boosts provided by each relic are called the Sub Stats of the relic. These sub-stats are generated randomly and are never the same as the main stat of the relic. Here is a list of all the possible sub-stats of a relic:
How To Get Relics
Just like Genshin Impact, relics need to be farmed by the players in different locations of the Astral Express. You can also obtain relics by defeating enemies throughout the storyline. After reaching the later stages of Jarilo-VI, the Caverns of Corrosion will get unlocked, which is the main source of farming Cavern Relics. Similarly, Planar Ornaments need to be farmed in the Simulated Universe in the Herta’s Space Station. In both cases, 40Trailblazer Powerneeds to be used in order to obtain a relic. Moreover, relics can be obtained through rewards, quests, shops, and more.
