Anno was previously involved in the animation of Studio Ghibli’sNausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. Thus, he has always wanted to remake the movie on his own terms. There have also been rumors that the director wants to create an anime series out of the source material left out during the movie’s creation.

Toshio Suzuki is one of the founding members of the world-renowned Studio Ghibli. The former president of the studiorevealed in an interview that Hideaki Anno has shown interest in creating a live-actionNausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

Hideaki Anno was one of the notable animators behind the movie and was assigned to draw the attack sequence of the Giant Warriors. Suzuki himself admitted that the animation is one of the high points of the film. Thus Anno knows about the intricacies of the plot. Suzuki also revealed that despite there being several requests to create a live-action of the movie, the answer has always been no.
The one person who never wanted to make it was actuallyHayao Miyazaki, the other co-founder of Ghibli. According to Suzuki, Miyazaki has repeatedly shut down Hollywood offers for a live-actionNausicaäremake.However, if anyone has a slight chance, it would be Anno due to his previous involvement with the anime film.

She is not only a strong and independent character, but she is also brave, intelligent, loyal, and compassionate.
