The training period (tutorial for the player) serves to either instill these qualities in future Helldivers or weed out the weak ones. Redditor Finds Easter Eggs in Helldivers 2 Tutorial Area
Tutorial sections in live-service games tend to be sandbox arenas, as developers don’t expect players to spend much time there. The team at Arrowhead Game Studio thinks differently, as it has put some real thought into the design of the tutorial area.
Redditor TheWonderingHalfling has gone around the tutorial area, documenting what they have found. One common aspect that is easily noticeable is that there are a lot of bodies lying around the area. It seems the training to become a Helldiver is not to be taken lightly,as you never know what major threats you will face on the battlefield.

The user has also found a statue doing theHelldivers 2salute, hidden away in a corner. There are also turrets atop the walls, which may be to keep threats out or keep soldiers in. Oddly, the player also found a box with some discarded rations right next to a skeleton. Could this be a Helldiver who decided they no longer wished to fight for Super Earth and camped out of the base?
Speaking of skeletons, there are tons to see across the area. Keeping aside the body bags, we can see them in various locations, emphasizing just how many lives have been claimed by the training area. We also see several holes punched into the concrete of the walls, which could have been caused by errant bullets, those fired at something, or someone trying to escape.

Previously, the team was on a monthly release schedule for these updates, but the community felt this was an unrealistic goal, and the quality of the Warbond reflected this truth. Players won’t get Warbonds as quickly now, but what they should get should be substantial.
The team has also released a massive patch for the game to address several issues players have reported over the past few months. While the patch does fix many of these problems, there are several that have not been addressed and new ones that have cropped up.
