Players recently liberated 10 planets to complete a major order within a given time, but they feel like a unique mechanic fromTom Clancy’s The Division 2will help them against their enemies and easily take them out. What’s exciting is that it fits right into the game flow and would make sense.

Reddit user u/This-one-dude took to the r/Helldiverssubreddit and asked the community if they would like to see the ground units like warhounds ofThe Division 2inHelldivers 2. Warhounds inThe Division 2are heavily armored robots with a large-caliber gun attached and also carry items.

The warhounds move slowly, and the gun needs to be charged before it is ready to fire, but if the opponents are hit, they deal great damage. The user added that players would be able to call the Warhounds using theHelldivers 2stratagems or get them with side mission objectives.
This is not a bad suggestion, as the Warhounds could accompany the Helldivers in the fight, helping carry items they might need in the battle and also taking down enemies getting close to them. Fans have said that it is a “cool concept,” and they would defend turrets and cannons against chargers.

User Razdulf explained why they would not want Warhounds added to the game. They started saying,“No, absolutely not,”and added that drones are already causing issues and are above the players. If the Warhounds were to follow players around and kill them, it would not be good.
Some players said that it would be another turret trying to shoot them after some time, while one player said that there should be no friendly dogs or warhounds as they would get“too emotionally attached to the tiny robot dog,”with another user saying that developers could add them only if players are allowed to pet them.
