Reports suggested that after Blake Lively made the changes to the script, she allegedly called Justin Baldoni to her penthouse, in the presence of Ryan Reynolds andTaylor Swift, to manipulate him with their star power. Therefore, despite the initial lukewarm response, Baldoni eventually had to accept the changes.
This whole situation led Baldoni to feel obliged to send a voicemail to Lively—that recently got leaked. Further, expressing his support by adding that he “would have felt that without Ryan and Taylor”, Baldoni addressed Lively’s “Khaleesi” remark directly. Emphasizing that he didn’t need Reynolds and Swift’s input to recognize Lively’s changes, Baldoni praised her powerful friends.
