Highly Anticipated 2025 Game Confirmed For Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2
Team Cherry confirmed that Hollow Knight: Silksong is coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
After the massive success Hades brought to Supergiant Games, the developers didn’t take too long to consider developing a sequel.Hades IIwas officially revealed during The Game Awards 2022.
Since May 2024, Hades II has been available on PC as an early access title. It was never confirmed for other platforms, but the general assumption was that it would also come to consoles when the final version comes out.
However, in a recent interview video, Supergiant Games confirmed thatthe 1.0 version of Hades II is now a timed console-exclusive title, releasing only onPC,Nintendo Switch 1, andNintendo Switch 2at launch.
No Hades II For Xbox And PlayStation Anytime Soon
Unfortunately, other players will have to wait a while longer to get their hands on this anticipated title unless they plan to purchasethe new $450 handheld console.
Right now, it’s unclear how long this window of exclusivity will last, and exactly when players can expect to play it on their Xbox and PlayStation consoles. It might not be clarified anytime soon either, because of Nintendo’s marketing strategies.
Hades II is a direct sequel to the first Hades game. Last week,during Nintendo Direct, an amazing gameplay video of this isometric roguelike was shown,running at 60 fps.
Nintendo Switch 2 is launching on August 15, 2025.Hades II will also come out sometime during 2025.
