Grounded is a complex game that can be tough to master at first. Whether you’re a returning player, or one starting out fresh, these tips can help.
Both Hedge Lab and Hedge Field Station are located on top of trees in the southeastern part of the map, which makes it a bit confusing how you may make your way toward the lab, and collect the Super Chip. But worry not, as we will guide you through this long and dangerous path step by step.
How To Get To Hedge Lab
The path to the lab starts from the HedgeField Station. Before embarking on this journey, we strongly suggest youcollect some food and craft a bunch of healing items, as you will facemultiple enemiesinside and outside the Hedge Lab. Also, you are highly suggested to craft a Bow with a bunch of arrows as well as the Spikey Sprig melee weapon.
Now, make your way towards the location marked on the map above at thesoutheast of the Oak Tree, until you reach a place overshadowed by tree branches. Keep in mind that a few Orb Weaverspiderslurk around this area usually.
Now, try to find thegreen gardening scissorson the ground, the tip of which will take you to the top of a tree branch, where you can easily spot theHedge Field Station. Leave the Field Station now and take the branch on the leftwith a small light bulbon it, as shown in the video below. Justfollow the branches with the light bulbsand you will eventually find a zipline.
The Zipline will take you to another tree branch, but in between, you will pass over another branch. If you drop down on the branch in the middle of the zipline, it will lead you insidea small labwhere you canactivate the Resource Surveyor, a useful device inside all Field Stations that shows you where you may find every discovered resource in the game.
Anyway, once you land on the branch at the end of the zipline, follow the path similar to the video below until you reach the next zipline. You may need to take a risky jump in between, which could drain half of your HP. So, make sure you have a few healing items to patch up afterward.
It’s worth noting that on your way to the second zipline, you will also findanother small lab, inside which there is a loot crate as well as a bed. You canchange your spawn point to this bed, which will save you a lot of travel if you die during the journey.
The second zipline will take you on top ofa red disk. Be aware that several spiderlings are roaming on the disk. Either kill them all or run forward towards the next tree branch, and follow it to reach the next zipline. This one will lead you inside a broken lab room. Loot the crate inside, head out, and follow the tree branches similar to the video below until you reach the final zipline, which directly takes you inside the Hedge lab.
Keep in mind that you will face spiderlings, smaller Orb Weaver variants, andsome hostile robotsinside the lab. So, be prepared for the battle and try to use your healing options efficiently.
