Traversing the thick jungles of Lamang Island is a dangerous affair by itself. Those who dare venture into it have to contend with tropical heat, thick rain, and frogs that don’t shut up. Of course, none of these risks come anywhere close to snipers. Every rice paddy you walk across is an invitation for a 7.62mm bullet to find your head, and after today’s Gray Zone Warfare update 0.3.2.0, thenights just got a lot more dangerous.
The tactical shooter’supdate 3.0, Winds of War, was a hit with most players, resulting in the biggest player count spike since the game’s release in 2024. Among some big changes to the multiplayer dynamics, the patch alsoadded the legendary Dragunov sniper rifle…

When that clip is empty, these games make reloading almost as fun as shooting.
…which, as players found out, was nearly useless. The sniper scopes available for the SVD all had a solid black reticle, which was nearly invisible at night or during cloudy weather.

Additionally, scopes, collimators and night vision goggles are now clearer in foggy and rainy conditions. The Vudu 1-6x scope reticle is now properly visible in all graphics settings.

Trader Rebalancing
Following some frustration with item availability, the traders in the game now have increased availability for certain popular items.
It’s worth noting that Vulture is a traveling salesman who’s only accessible at forward operating bases.

Combat Fixes
The update patches out a puzzling bug where bulletproof vests were ignored by bullets when wearing a chest rig over them.
AI enemies have lost their paranormal powers and no longer will teleport through closed doors in various locations. In the Midnight Sapphire area, snipers no longer come equipped with SVDs, annoyingly removing my main source of farming those things.
In terms of PvP,the PMC Conflict Zone map marker has been expanded from 100m to 300m in diameter, making the position of both players less obvious.
