You are now in charge of Gotham after the demise of Batman, so you need to investigate crimes and defeat enemies to keep the city safe. Gotham Knights relies on skills and abilities to give you the edge in fights with enemies. You can also play this game solo or with up to three friends all playing as a group of heroes.

To help you get the most out of your hero and make them as strong as possible as you level up, you need to make sure you are swapping your loadout and crafting new gear with higher levels. Within the game, you can unlock new suits all giving you better defense and attack, as well as some other buffs. However, you also have the option to craft new suits, and this guide will show you how.

Why Change Suits?

There are many suits you may have within the game, not only do they look different aesthetically, but they also have different rarity levels and power. This then affects your defense score, health, and also any elemental resistances. As you level up you will unlock new suits to wear, but these sometimes won’t be as strong as what you have, or maybe they do not have as many MOD slots in them. This can then affect the overall power score you could get for the suit. By having more MOD slots you can get more out of each suit.

For example, a suit may have a higher base power but may only have one slot for MODs. You could also have a slightly lower base power with three MOD slots, this means you are going to be able to get the lower base power to a higher power overall because of the MODs. So make sure to bear this in mind when crafting and changing gear.

How You Can Craft Suits

To craft a suit you first have to unlock theBatcomputerwhere you can access gear, abilities, and the map. You can then either go into the Batcomputer and navigate to gear and then navigate to crafting or if you are in the Belfry, you can go to the workbench which is to the right of the Batcomputer, and craft from there. In order to be able to craft a suit you will need Salvage which can be found when defeating enemies, completing missions and crimes, and also by opening up chests. When you go to craft a suit it will advise what Salvage is needed, there are different tiers of salvage for you to craft with.

you’re able to get common salvage for the common suits, uncommon salvage which is green, epic salvage which is purple, and finally the yellow salvage which is legendary. You will require a certain amount of each salvage to make the suit so make sure you check what you have available so you know what you need to save up as the same salvage is used for melee and ranged crafting too. When looking to craft a suit you will sometimes have numerous options, so make sure to check what MOD slots there are and if the buffs you get from the suits are better than others, as just relying on power level can lead you astray.

Changing Styles

When you have unlocked or crafted a suit, you will then have that option unlocked in styles. Styles allow you to change the look of the suit without having to have that suit equipped. If you have the suit you have unlocked or crafted equipped then you can change the color, the cowl, the symbol style, the gloves, and also the boots.
