Kadokawa Games announced thatGod Wars: The Complete Legendwill be releasing on PC via Steam this June.
God Wars: The Complete Legendis a tactical RPG set in ancient Japan and based onKojiki.God Wars:The Complete Legendiscurrently available on Nintendo Switch, and is an enhanced version ofGod Wars: Future Past,which first released on PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. The additional story content ofThe Complete Legendis, however, available for free via DLC for owners of the original game on PS4 and Vita.
The Steam version ofGod Wars: The Complete Legendwill support keyboard + mouse controls and include new menu ergonomy enhancements, such as being able to rearrange the order of party members in the menu. The first characters in the list will also be automatically added to the selected deploying characters before a map’s start. A patch will also be coming on June to the PS4, Vita and Switch versions to add these menuing additions.
In July 2018, Kadokawa Games also revealedGod Wars 2, and how the company iscarefully considering player’s feedbackfor it and doesn’t rest on its laurels despite the first game’s critical success, with over 200,000 copies sold worldwide.
A trailer is available on theSteam pageand it includes comments fromGod Wars: The Complete Legend’s Director, Scenarist and Original Story Writer Yoshimi Yasuda, Japanese Actor Shiro Sano who voicesGod Wars' narrator, and Monster Designer Sawaki Takeyasu.
God Warsalso features character designs from Taro Minoboshi aka Minotaro, who handled that role for Kadokawa Games’PS4 dating simLoveR,which released this March in Japan.
